Elsie M. (Blohm) Schumacher, age 71, of Felicity Lane, Hellertown PA, died Tuesday, September 17, 2002 at the St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill PA. She was the Wife of Rudolf A. Schumacher. The couple celebrated their 49th Wedding Anniversary last December.

Born in New York City NY, she was the Daughter of the late Dick and Anna (Dietrich) Blohm. She was a Member of Christ Lutheran Church, Hellertown.

She is survived by her Husband; Sons, Robert J. Schumacher of Moorestown NJ and Richard W. Schumacher of Newington CT; Daughter, Karen A. Schumacher of Blooming Grove NY; Brother, John Blohm of Cary NC; and 10 Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 11:30 a.m. Thursday, September 19, 2002 in the Christ Lutheran Church, 69 Main Street, Hellertown. Family and Friends may call 7:00-8:30 p.m. Wednesday and 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown. The Reverend Philip C. Spohn officiating.
