Eleanor M. Connell, 67, of Hellertown, died Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Valley Manor Nursing and Rehab, Coopersburg. She is the wife of the late Francis L.J. Connell, who passed away on July 9, 1992.

Born in Fountain Hill on February 4, 1945 to the late William and Margaret (Ackerman) Hein. Eleanor was a Dietary Aide at Valley Manor Nursing Home, Coopersburg and Mary Ellen Conv. Home, Hellertown until retiring. She is a member of Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, Hellertown.

Survivors: Loving children: Rosemarie A. wife of Raymond L. Torres of Bethlehem, Nina M. wife of Raymond A. Bysiewicz of Delray Beach, FL, Timothy M. and his wife Coral L. of Hellertown, James M. and his wife Heather E. of Lower Saucon Twp.; siblings: Thomas and his wife Marlene of Bethlehem, Virginia Serbia of Hellertown, Catherine Mae; grandchildren: Valerie, Alexis, and Emalee. Predeceased by siblings: Rose Marie Hart, Robert, Russell, James, and William.

Services: Family and friends are invited to call 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 17, 2013 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street – Hellertown followed by the service at 10:30 a.m. Interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society.
