Amelia (Piccirillo) Mulhern, 85, of Allentown, PA formerly of Chatham Township, NJ, died Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Woodland Terrace at the Oaks, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Thomas J. Mulhern.

Born in Newark, NJ, November 16, 1927, Amelia was the daughter of the late George and Rose (Romano) Piccirillo. She was employed as a teller at the former Chatham Savings Bank, Chatham, NJ before retiring. Amelia was a former member of the Chatham Senior Citizens Club and was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors: Son, George J. Mulhern and his wife, Jane, of Allentown, PA; brother, Peter Piccirillo and his wife, Susan, of Long Valley, NJ; grandchildren, Andrew F. Mulhern and Anne C. Mulhern; predeceased by a sister, Carmella Pagano.

Services: 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 31, 2012 at Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum, 225 Ridgedale Avenue, East Hanover, NJ with the Rev. Owen B. Moran officiating. No calling hours. The Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., in Schnecksville is in charge of arrangements.
