Gladys L. (Leith) Seifert, 82, of Hellertown, formerly of Springtown, died Friday, December 21, 2012 at St. Luke's Hospital & Health Network, Fountain Hill. She is the wife of Merritt E. Seifert.

Born in Hellertown on April 28, 1930 to the late John J. Leith, Jr. and Martha E. (Mindler) Leith. She is a member of New Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lower Saucon Twp., Spring Valley Sportsmen's Club Ladies Auxiliary and Beethoven Waldheim, Hellertown.

Survivors: In addition to her loving husband of 56 years; children: Shelby A. Robinson of Hellertown, Wayne E. Seifert of Center Valley, Terry L. wife of J.C. Ravier of Hellertown; grandson: Joshua A. Ravier. Predeceased by siblings: Chester Leith, Maynard Leith and Ella Mae Martin.

Services: Family and friends are invited to call 10 – 11 a.m. Monday, December 24, 2012 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street – Hellertown followed by the service at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Tricia A. McMackin. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
