Pauline E. (Leith) Holum, 97, formerly of Lower Saucon Twp., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Moravian Village, Bethlehem, surrounded by loved ones. She is the wife of the late Glenn Holum who died Oct. 13, 1977.

Born in Lower Saucon Twp. on October 17, 1915. She was the daughter and last remaining Leith in the family of Lower Saucon Farmer, the late Elmer C. and Minnie (Mindler) Leith. She is a member of New Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lower Saucon Twp.

Survivors: Sons: Ronald A., Gerald E. and his wife Joanne B. all of Lower Saucon Twp.; grandsons: Dean and his wife Cylinda of Hellertown and Marc of Colorado Springs, CO; 4 great grandchildren. She is also survived by nephew: Howard Weaver, niece: Barbara Hetrick, and Nelson Weaver (deceased) whom she raised. Pauline is predeceased by 14 siblings.

Services: Family and friends are invited to call 10 – 11 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2012 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown followed by the service at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Tricia A. McMackin, officiating. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorials to VNA Hospice of St. Luke's and or the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home, 18055.

Aunt Pauline will be dearly missed by all of us. She was an amazing woman who was always able to make us smile with her stories.

Pauline was a great bingo friend. We sat across from one another for many years at the Hellertown Legion on Tuesday nights. We always exchanged Christmas cards. She was a good friend. I will miss her.

Yesterday Aunt Pauline was laid to rest aside of her husband. Carried by those who called her grammy,Marc Dean and the four Weaver boys.Sadly missed by all those who came to say good-bye. As we where saying good-bye on another shore loved ones waited and shouting welcome home.
