Marion (Turner) Keeler, 87, formerly of Neffs, PA died Sunday, October 28, 2012 at Sacred Heart Senior Living by the Creek, Northampton, PA. She was the wife of the late Harold E. Keeler. Born in Middlebury, VT, November 17, 1924, Marion was the daughter of the late William L. and Irene D. (Crossman) Turner. She faithfully and honorably served her country in the U.S. Navy during World War II as a Wave, achieving the rank of Yeoman First Class. Marion was employed as a secretary for the former General Electric and Kelly Services, both of Allentown. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Allentown. Survivors: Son, Charles H. Keeler and his wife, Susan, of Essex Junction, VT; daughter, Kathy I. Kumernitsky, and her husband, Michael Jr. of Schnecksville, PA; grandchildren, Benjamin and Aaron Keeler, Ashley Kumernitsky; great grandchildren, Noah and Andrew Keeler. Services: A memorial service will be held 2:30 p.m., Friday, November 2, 2012 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with the Rev. Dr. Michael A. Drake officiating. No calling hours. Interment will take in Middlebury, VT. at a time and date to be announced. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Upper Lehigh Lions Club, Fund of H.O.P.E. c/o the funeral home, P.O. Box # 196, Schnecksville, PA 18078-0196.
