Leroy N. Haas, Jr., 55, of Center Valley, formerly of Schnecksville, died Wednesday, October 24, 2012 in his home.

Born in Allentown, January 14, 1957, he was the son of Carlene M. (Frederick) Haas of Wescosville and the late Leroy N. Haas, Sr. He formerly was employed as a mechanic at Sands Bros. in Quakertown. Leroy was an active volunteer and life member of the Community Fire Co.# 1, Schnecksville, where he recently received “A Friend of the Fair” award. He was a member of The Old Time Plow Boys Club, Inc. and The Antique Engine, Tractor & Toy Club, Inc.

Survivors: In addition to his mother; daughter, Nicole L. Haas with whom he resided; sister, Darlene M. Laub of Schnecksville; two grandchildren, Kevin A. Lindaberry and Syrena M. Lindaberry.

Services: A celebration of life service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Community Fire Co. #1, 4550 Old Packhouse Road, Schnecksville. The family will receive guests following the service at a reception held at the hall. The Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., in Schnecksville is in charge of arrangements.
