Glenn A. Burkevich, 66, formerly of Lower Saucon Twp., died October 22, 2012 at the home of his sister and brother-in-law , Montgomery Village, MD.

Born in Allentown, PA on April 3, 1946 to the late Albert Burkevich and Reba C. (Beck) Burkevich. Glenn worked at the former Bethlehem Steel.

Survivors: Siblings: Bruce S. Burkevich and his wife Suzanne of San Antonio, FL and Brenda C. Monaco and her husband Nicholas Monaco with whom he resided. Predeceased by brother: Terrel B. Burkevich.

Services: Family and friends are invited to call 7:00 - 8:30, Friday, October 26, 2012 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street – Hellertown. The service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The interment will conclude services at New Jerusalem Cemetery, Lower Saucon Twp.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, given Glenn's caring fondness of cats, the family feels that a fitting remembrance of Glenn would be donations made to: Friends of Montgomery County Animals (FMCA),14221 Dufief Mill Rd, Gaithersburg, MD 20878.

We were very sorry to hear of Glenn's demise and want to say that Glenn will be missed very much at the Italian Cultural Society events. He was always helpful and especially at the Christmas party. We will remember him and will make a contribution to the indicated charity for animals. We offer Brenda and Nick our felt condolences!

I was so sorry to learn that Glenn is no longer with us ~ although he will be in our hearts and memories forever. Glenn added so much life to the PNA social events and was so much fun to be around, especially at our bingos. We will tremendously miss Glenn. I am sure Glenn would be so pleased to know that people are making contributions to help kitties in remembrance of his life. That is something else that Glenn and I shared a fondness for ~ kitties.
