Frederick S. Cooper, 91, Lower Saucon Twp. died Thursday, March 8, 2012 at the VNA Hospice House of St. Luke's, Lower Saucon Twp. He is the husband of the late Ann M. (Beyak) Cooper (died June 23, 2009).

Born in Philadelphia, PA on July 7, 1920 to the late Frederick A. and Minnie M. (Ruth) Cooper. He served our country faithfully in the US Air Force during World War II. He worked in the Forge Specialty Department of the former Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 41 1/2 years until retiring in 1981. Frederick is a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Bethlehem.

Survivors: Son: Fred of Lower Saucon Twp., Thomas J. of Allentown; brother: Donald C. of Hellertown; 3 grandchildren: Amy, Tim, and Tonya ; 1 Great Grandson: Ezra.

Services: Family and friends are invited to call 12 - 1 p.m. Monday at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street – Hellertown followed by the service at 1 p.m. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
