Joyce R. (Dorney) Nastasee, 84, of Hellertown passed into our Lord Jesus's arms on Sunday, February 12, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Philip C. Nastasee, son Mark G. Nastasee, brothers Paul M. Dorney, Jr. and Raymond H. Dorney and parents Paul M. Dorney, Sr. and Sara A. (Reiss) Dorney, all of Bethlehem, PA. Joyce was a loving Mother to Philip A. Nastasee (wife Susan) of Bethlehem and Rosemary A. Goldstein (husband James) of Brentwood, TN and Grandmother to Elizabeth A. Goldstein.

Joyce enjoyed working at Lehigh University for over 25 years for the Dean of Student Life and in the Lindermann Library respectively. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Hellertown, PA. She was also a loving Grandmother to Elizabeth Goldstein, her only grandchild.

Joyce could frequently be seen scurrying across Main Street in Hellertown (as she tended to the needs of her husband Philip) which created quite a stir as it caused local business owners to fear for her safety. She was a wonderful care provider for her husband of 59 years and also took loving care of her Mother, Father and brothers during their time of need. She will be greatly missed.

Family and friends are invited to call 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2012 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street - Hellertown followed by the service at 1:30 p.m. with the Reverend Tricia A.McMackin, officiating. The interment will conclude with services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
