Claire E. (Miller) Rothrock, 86, of Whitehall, died Thursday, February 9, 2012 in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Donald D. Rothrock.

Born in Northampton, November 2, 1925, Claire was the daughter of the late Ralph Sr. and Marie (Sachs) Miller. She was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, volunteering her time in the HUGS program and preparing the monthly newsletter. She was a ranking officer and volunteer of the Catasauqua Moose, a member of the AARP and the Coplay Senior Citizens.

Survivors: Children, Sandra A. Craig and her fiancé, David W. Norwood, of Whitehall, Dennis D. Rothrock and his wife, Denise, of Orefield, Dale D. Rothrock and his wife, Diane, of Berwick; seven grandchildren; three great grandsons.

Service: Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2012 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with the Rev. Thomas N. Thomas and the Rev. Kris P. Snyder-Samuelson officiating. Family and friends may pay their respects from 7 -8:30 p.m. Tuesday, in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Union Church Cemetery, Neffs.
