Robert F. Frey, 78, of Whitehall, died Saturday, January 21, 2012 at The Phoebe Home, Allentown. He was the husband of Katherine W. (Peters) Frey. The couple celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary last December 11.

Born in Allentown, November 14, 1933, Robert was the son of the late Henry O.D. Sr. and Mildred A. (Dottery) Frey. A member of the Asbestos Workers Union Local #23, Robert was employed as an industrial insulator for AC & S in Lancaster for 40 years before retiring in 2005.

Survivors: In addition to his wife, Katherine; children, Melody L. Fox and her husband, Kevin, of Northampton, Keith R. Frey of Tafton, Larissa L. Bruder and her husband, Glen, of Whitehall; granddaughters, Nicole, Lauren, Jenna and Jessica; siblings, Henry O.D. Frey, Jr. of Whitehall, Donald M. Frey and Francis C. Frey both of Allentown, Dale H. Frey of Newark DE, David H. Frey of Bethlehem, Barbara Mauer of Easton, Lois M. Druckenmiller of Whitehall, Lillian E. Frey of Bethlehem, Lola R. Smith of Kutztown; many nieces and nephews; predeceased by siblings, Paul and Russell Frey, Betty M. Frey.

Services: Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 27, 2012 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville with the Rev. Aaron W. Fox officiating. Family and friends may pay their respects from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Friday in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Arlington Memorial Park, Whitehall.
