A man of great stature, with a humble nature and limitless capacity to care for others, a loving husband, father and grandfather - Richard J. Kradjel, Sr., 80, of Hellertown, formerly of Ardmore, died Friday, January 20, 2012 at the VNA Hospice House of St. Luke's, Lower Saucon Twp. Born in Fountain Hill on June 1, 1931 to the late Peter J. Kradjel & Margaret (Zeleski) Kradjel Kvochak. He is the husband of Bernadine K. Kovalcik. He served our country faithfully in the US Army during Peacetime. Richard was the Vice President of the Legal Department for the Franklin Mint, Media for 30 years until retiring in 2000. He is a member of the Church of the Assumpton of the Blessed Virgin Mary - Colesville. Survivors: In addition to his loving wife of 55 years; children: Cynthia Lee Kradjel wife of Raymond A. Pruzinsky of New Rochelle, NY, Richard J., Jr. and his wife Barbara A. of Bronxville, NY, David J. and his fiancee Debra Eisenberg of New York City; grandchildren: Max Paul V. & Anita K. Pruzinsky, Andrew R. & Brian J. Kradjel. Services: Private gathering and Mass of Christian Burial at the Church.
