Loftin H. Gregory, Jr., 84, of Orefield, died Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township.

Born in Allentown, October 26, 1927, Loftin was the son of the late Loftin H. Sr. and Evelyn (Beidleman) Gregory. He was employed as a furnace operator in the Roll Foundry at the former Bethlehem Steel Corp. for many years before retiring in 1983.

Survivors: Sons, Loftin H. Gregory III and his wife, Cheryle, of Schnecksville, Timothy A. Gregory of Danielsville, Randolph S. Gregory and his wife, Donna, of Allentown; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; predeceased by sisters, Mildred Moyer and Charlotte Schumaker.

Service: Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2012 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville with the Rev. Dr. David Charles Smith officiating. Family and friends may pay their respects from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Morgenland Union Cemetery, Orefield.
