Kermit K. Judd, age 89, of Saucon Valley Manor, formerly of Delaware Ave., Hellertown PA, died Thursday, May 24, 2007 at the VNA Hospice House of St. Luke's, Lower Saucon Township PA. He is the husband of Virginia L. (Ludwig) Judd. Born in Springfield Township PA, June 22, 1917, he is the son of the late Elmer S. and Daisy R. (Kunsman) Judd. Kermit worked at the Bethlehem Steel Company in the Accounting Department for 42 years until retirement. He served his country honorably during World War II in the United States Army, Battle of the Bulge, 143rd Station Hospital. He was the holder of ETO Ribbon with one Bronze Battle Star, the American Theatre Ribbon, the Good Conduct Medal and the Victory Ribbon. Kermit is a member of First United Church of Christ, Hellertown where he had served on its Consistory. He was also an avid Baseball player and played on the State Championship for Hellertown High; Past Worshipful Master of the former Hellertown Lodge #563 F&A.M; Member of the Odd Fellows Lodge of Hellertown and the Bethlehem Square Club. In addition to his loving Wife of 64 years, he is survived by his Son, James B. and his wife JoAnne S. (Schlutter) of Lafayette CO; Daughter, Cheryl K. Judd-Magee, wife of John T. Magee of Charlotte NC; and 5 Grandchildren, Tobias Judd of Siberia, Russia, Clayton Judd of Jackson Hole WY, Corry Judd of Boulder CO, and Sarah Kate and Callie Magee of Charlotte NC. He is predeceased by his Son, Rand Bradley in 1943. Family and Friends are invited to call 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2007 at the Church, 501 Northampton St. Hellertown, PA with services at 11:00 a.m. with the Reverend Richard L. Teitsworth officiating. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., Hellertown.
