Mary F. Strock, 93, of Springtown, died Saturday, Dec. 24, 2011 at the VNA Hospice House of St. Luke's, Lower Saucon Twp. She is the wife of the late Clark S. Strock (died Jan. 27, 2004).

Born in Springfield Twp. on May 19, 1918 to the late Calvin Fabian and Mabel May (Dieterly). Mary is a 1934 graduate of Springfield Twp. High School and a 1938 graduate of Moravian College for Woman. She taught in a one room school house in Springfield twp. and several others in the same capacity until retiring in 1981 as a Math Teacher in the 7th grade at Palisades Jr.-Sr. High School. Mary is a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Pleasant Valley and a member of its Trinity Church Woman; Delta Kappa Gamma Society - Professional Woman Educators; Alpha Nu Chapter, Charter member founded in 1956 and Past President; Minsi Trail Flower Club; Springfield Twp. Bucks Co. Historical Society; Allentown Moravian Alumni Club; Moravian College Alumni; PA Assoc. of School retirees - Bucks County Chapter and various other organizations in years past.

Survivors: Sons: C. Bruce Strock of Springtown, Terence A. Strock and his wife Judy L. of LaFargeville, NY, Scott R. Strock and his wife Diane M. of Honeoye Falls, NY; Sister: Janet Andre of Fountain Hill; 3 granddaughters and 2 grandsons; 4 great granddaughters and 2 great grandsons.

Services: Family and friends are invited to her memorial service on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 2 p.m. at her church, 1990 Route 212, Pleasant Valley (Quakertown). The interment will conclude services at Springtown Cemetery, Springfield Twp. The Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Hellertown is in charge of arrangements.
