Genevieve A. "Jenny" Pearson, 82, of Lower Saucon Twp. died Monday, December 19, 2011 at Old Orchard Health Care Center, Bethlehem Twp. She is the wife of the late Kenneth P. Pearson.

Born in Fountain Hill on June 4, 1929 to the late John Sazynski and Stella (Siek). Jenny worked private duty as a domestic engineer for many years and also was a hairdresser. She worked at her parents store - known as Sazynski Grocery Store in Hellertown in earlier years. She was a member of the former Stanislaus Catholic Church, Bethlehem where she sang on its choir; Southeastern Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Aux.; she and her husband went on several MORA Club trips. Jenny lived for her grandchildren, and her flower garden, awarded many ribbons from the Plainfield and Allentown Fairs. Jenny won the senior class hay bale throwing contest at the Allentown Fair.

Survivors: Loving children: Daniel K. Pearson of Lower Saucon Twp., Renee A. wife of Gary P. Zimmerman of Kempton, Denise A. wife of Dennis C. Dengler of Fogelsville; brother: Marvin of Allentown; 6 grandchildren: Erica, Michael, Derek, Darren, Dayna and Danielle. She is predeceased by sisters: Helen Czopoth and Dorothy Gretzinger.

Services: Family and friends are invited to call 10 - 11 a.m. Friday, December 23, 2011 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street - Hellertown followed by the service at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Raymond J. Hand, officiating. The interment will conclude services at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
