Albina (Khaerl) Drabic, 92, formerly of Ormrod, died Friday, April 15, 2011 at Cedarbrook - Allentown. She was the wife of the late Metro Drabic. Born in New York City, NY, on April 24, 1918, Albina was the daughter of the late Albert and Magdalena (Scarbowska) Khaerl. A member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union, she was employed as a presser for the former Fuller Sportswear, in Fullerton for 20 years before retiring in 1978. She was of the Catholic faith. Survivors: Children, Judith M. Hoffman and her husband, Clark, of Slatington, Margaret M. Korsak and her husband, Timothy, of Boyertown, Thomas A. Drabic and his wife, Kathleen, of Slatington; five grandchildren; one great granddaughter; predeceased by a son, James M. Drabic and sisters, Margaret, Helen and Stella. Service: Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. No public calling hours. Interment will follow the service at St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Northampton. The Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., in Schnecksville is in charge of arrangements.
