Lloyd G. Evans, age 91, of Emmaus PA, died Monday, January 9, 2006 in the Henry Health Care Center on the campus of the Lutheran Home of Topton. He was the husband of the late Eleanor R. (Semmel) Evans.

Born in Philadelphia PA, Lloyd was the son of the late George W. and Marie (Davies) Evans. He was a Plumber and Steamfitter, working on numerous construction projects in the Lehigh Valley area before retiring. He was a Member of Union Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schnecksville PA. He faithfully and honorably served his country in the United States Army during World War II.

He is survived by his Daughter, Carlene E. Stephens, wife of Gary K. Sturm of Alexandria VA; Son, Nolan L. Evans at home; and Sister, Dorothy Delich of Stuart FL.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 12, 2006 at Union Church Cemetery, Neffs PA, with the Reverend Dennis W. Moore officiating. The will be no Calling Hours. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., Schnecksville PA.
