Gloria M. (Kibler) Berger, age 58, of Slatington PA, died Friday, March 17, 2006 in her home. She was the Wife of Eugene H. Berger. The couple celebrated their 42nd Wedding Anniversary last September.

Born in Emerald PA, Gloria was the daughter of the late Henry and Maybell (Miller) Kibler. She was employed in the Food Preparation department of KidsPeace, Schnecksville PA, for 5 years. Prior to that, she worked as a Loom Cleaner at the former Stanwood Mills, Slatington PA for 12 years, and at the former Janie's Fashions, Slatington PA for 18 years as a Sewing Machine Operator. She was a Member of the Lutheran Congregation of Morgenland Union Church, Orefield PA. She was also a Life Member of the Emerald Fire Company, an avid Camper and enjoyed local Stock Car racing.

She is survived by her Husband; Sons, Captain Ronald H. Berger, United States Army at home and Donald H. Berger of Palmerton PA; Brothers, Edwin W. Kibler of Slatington PA and Donald F. Kibler of Lansford PA; Sister, Barbara A. Steinmetz of Allentown PA; 4 Grandchildren; and 4 Nieces and 6 Nephews.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at Morgenland Union Church, 3120 Weidasville Road, Orefield PA with the Reverend David M. Werley officiating. Family and Friends may call 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville PA. Interment will follow the service at Morgenland Union Cemetery.
