Frank L. Brown, age 71, of Macungie PA, formerly of Holliston MA, died Thursday, June 9, 2005 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township PA. He was the Husband of Joan (Hays) Brown. The couple celebrated their 41st Wedding Anniversary this past April.

Born in Saint Johnsbury VT, Frank was the son of the late Lloyd and Marian (Strauser) Brown. He faithfully and honorably served his county in the United States. Army during the Korean War. After Graduating from the University of Vermont with a degree in Civil Engineering, he was employed at Parsons Engineering in Boston MA from 1967 - 1997. He was a Member of St. Anne's Episcopal Church, Trexlertown PA.

Frank was also a former Member of the American Engineering Society, volunteered his time for various organizations and was an avid golfer and outdoorsman.

He is survived by his Wife; Sons, Warren L. Brown and his wife Pamela of Furlong PA and David H. Brown and his wife Brenda of Worcester MA; Daughter, Gayle B. wife, of David G. Shelby of Shrewsbury MA; Sisters, Elaine Powers of New Mexico and Catherine Doyle of Denver CO; and 6 Grandchildren. He is predeceased in death by a Sister, Eleanor McNamera.

A memorial service will take place 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 13, 2005 at St. Anne's Episcopal Church, 6667 Lower Macungie Road, Trexlertown with the Reverend Michael F. Piovane, Ed.D. and the Reverend Jane A. Bender officiating. There are no Calling Hours. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., Schnecksville PA.
