Eugene H. Behney, age 70, of Kings Highway, Kempton PA, died Thursday, February 10, 2005 in his home. He was the husband of Barbara M. (Tews) Behney. The couple celebrated their 46th Wedding Anniversary last September.

Born in Allentown PA, Eugene was the son of the late Raymond and Gertrude (Hein) Behney. He worked in the shipping and receiving department of Kraft Foods, Inc., Fogelsville PA for 20 years, retiring in 1990. He was a member of Ebenezer United Church of Christ, New Tripoli PA and a member of the Lynnport Fire Company.

He is survived by his Wife; Daughters, Sherry A. wife, of Glenn C. Hinkel of Germansville PA, Sally M., wife of Ronald G. Metzger, Jr. of Kempton PA and Dorothy M., wife of James R. Clare of New Tripoli PA; Son, Eugene H. Jr. and his wife Peggy E. Behney of New Tripoli PA; Sisters, Lovey, wife of Russell Peters of Whitehall PA, Mildred, wife of Melvin Keyser of Allentown PA, Betty Beidler of Allentown PA and Christine, wife of Robert Bleiler of Wescosville PA; and 3 Grandchildren, Ryan F. Hinkel of NC, Crystal L. Clare of Temple PA and Christopher L. Clare of New Tripoli PA. He is predeceased in death by a sister, Dorothy Grammes

Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 14, 2005 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville. Family and Friends may Call 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. prior to the service in the Funeral Home. The Reverend Kevin E. Fruchtl will be officiating. The interment will take place in the Ebenezer Church Cemetery, New Tripoli PA.
