Ellen Rush Brown, age 53, of Kichline Avenue, Hellertown PA, died Friday, August 12, 2005 at the St. Luke's Quakertown Hospital. She was the wife of Eugene N. Brown, Jr. The couple celebrated their 22nd Wedding Anniversary in December.

Born in Morristown NJ, she is the daughter of the late Wilbur Rush and Florence (Thompson) Schumann. She was a Member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Fountain Hill PA. She was Deputy Chief of Metro Ambulance Service and a Steel City Fire Police Officer.

She is survived by her Loving Husband, Eugene; Son, Dennis J. Brown; and Daughter, Stephanie Z. Brown of Washington NJ. She is predeceased in death by her Brother, Robert Rush.

Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown PA. Family and Friends may call 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow services at the Montana Cemetery, Harmony Township, Washington NJ.
