Elizabeth Brong, age 78, of Allentown PA, died Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at the Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown. She is the wife of Ray C. Brong.

Born in Allentown PA, September 29, 1928, she is the daughter of the late William and Nellie (Steckel) Harkin. Betty worked at Western Electric as a Technician, retiring in 1976 and was a Member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Allentown.

In addition to her Husband of 58 years, she is survived by her Son, Dennis R. and his wife Rhonda of Bethlehem PA; Daughters: Cheri M., wife of Thomas R. Chinnici of Emmaus PA and Colleen A. of Allentown PA; and Grandson, Zack J. Lederer of Philadelphia PA.

A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Church, 501 Ridge Avenue, Allentown. There will be no calling hours. The Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Hellertown PA is in charge of arrangements.
