Shirley M. Thatcher, 74, of Saucon Valley Manor, Hellertown died Saturday, March 6, 2010 at her residence. She is the wife of the late Sanford W. "Sandy" Thatcher.

Born in Hellertown on October 17, 1935 to the late Frank and Hazel (Snyder) Trautman. Shirley worked at the former Zawick Manufacturing, Hellertown as a seamstress until 1984.

Survivors: Loving Daughter, Dianne L. wife of John J. Becker, Sr. of Hellertown; Brother, Earl Trautman of Bethlehem; Sister, Ethel Parker in Rivera Beach, FL; Grandchildren, John J. Becker, Jr., Staff Sgt. Daniel J. Becker, and Keri A. Diamond; and Great Grandchildren, Joseph N. Becker, Gabriel A. Stoneback, Kylie M. Becker, and Aubrey G. Becker and Aiden D. Diamond.

Services: Family and friends are invited to call 10 – 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street - Hellertown, followed by the service at 11:00 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
