My first memory of Mr. Krizan was when a friend and I "ran away from home" (at age 10) and only got as far as Mr. and Mrs. Krizan's house in Springtown (four doors down the street from ours). They invited us in and graciously gave us some lunch, after which we promptly forgot about running away and went home. :-)

Later in life I began mowing lawns for a living and the Krizans were some of my earliest customers. They were always the nicest people. Generous, good-natured, etc.

I hadn't kept in touch with Mr. Krizan after he relocated to Saucon Manor -- something I've always felt guilty about -- but I thought about him often and remembered him and his family in my prayers, as I do especially now !

May he rest in peace, and may his family know God's incomparable comfort in this time of sorrow and loss !

I enjoyed taking care of John at Saucon Valley Manor. I am also grateful that I left you time to say goodbye. It will take time to heal but his memory will live in your heart.
