Dear Keith:

Remember when you invited me to your house in Orefield? That was probably around the time that your brother, Shawn, was born--maybe a little after. You told me to walk south down 309 and then go down a hill to your house.
Somehow things got messed up, and I walked down to Hamm's gas station. I got as far as Norma Jay's (the bean pot) but on the other side of 309.
I knocked at someone's door and asked them if they knew the Reeves. They said, "No." I was perplexed.
I never got to your house because I was supposed to make a left at Mark Hill's old house and go down to Johnson's pond and the white farmhouse that your mom or dad rented.
I never got to meet your brother, but he sure looks like one heck of a nice guy. And an Air Force veteran on top of it! ....##**...@@!!

Sorry, Keith, I got a little choked-up.

I saw your brother's write-up when it first got published. I tried 411 to get your phone number so that I could call you, but your number was unlisted. Shawn's write-up caught my eye today because I was in the process of sending my condolences to David Geisler for his brother Mike.
-------------------------

I'll never forget the joke that you told me outside, at recess, in the rear of the Schnecksville Elementary School back in 1969.
Remember that one Keith? .....when someone asked a kid why his face was so green, and the kid continued to answer, "I don't know."
As he answered, I don't know, he continuously wiped his arm up over his nose and onto his upper face and head.
------------------------
Life may take us far away from each other, but those good 'ole memories last 'til the end of time.
God Bless You and Yours, Keith!

p.s. Did you know that Russ Tabor's son, Warren, is now about 26.
I visited Russ in 2003, and him and his second wife, Risa, visited me in 2004.
Since then, Russ has been off the radar screen.

If you ever get up this way, don't be afraid to stop in. 251 Mickley Road, Whitehall, PA
