Thomas J. Heenan, Jr., 74, of Schnecksville, died Sunday, February 7, 2010 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the former husband of the late Catherine A. (Hurd) Heenan who died in 2006. Thomas was employed as a carpenter for Union Local #8 working in the Philadelphia area before retiring. He attended St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church in Orefield. He also was a member of the Lehigh County Senior Center.

Survivors: Children, Kathryn McGonagle and her husband Vincent of Schnecksville, Thomas J. Heenan, Sharon Hentz and her husband Vincent all of Levittown; former daughter-in-law, Jodi Blumberg Heenan of West Chester; siblings, James, Robert, William, Charles and Terrance Heenan, MaryEllen O'Donnell and Katherine Cullen; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; predeceased by a son, Michael and a grandson, Randy.

Service: Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Thursday and 8:45 - 9:45 a.m. Friday in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, 1879 Applewood Drive, Orefield with the Rev. Michael E. Mullins, as Celebrant. Interment will follow the Mass at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Philadelphia.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lehigh County Senior Center, c/o the funeral home, P.O. Box # 196, Schnecksville, PA 18078-0196.
