Dorothy L. Beitel, age 93, of ManorCare Health Center, Palmer Township PA, formerly of Hellertown PA, died Sunday, July 17, 2005 at the Easton Hospital, Wilson Borough PA. She is the Wife of the late Ferdinand C. Beitel, 2005.

Born in White Haven PA, she is the daughter of the late Robert and Susan (Prutzman) Williams. Dorothy had worked at the Homer Research Division of the former Bethlehem Steel for 13 years until retiring. She is a member of the Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, Hellertown PA.

She is survived by her Sons, Thomas C. Beitel and his wife Cynthia M. of West Chester PA and Carl F. Beitel and his wife Marie S. of Hellertown PA; Daughters, Marian R., wife of Ronald B. Lennen of Bethlehem PA and Dorothy A. Dunn of Bridgewater NJ; Brothers, Robert Williams in FL and Leonard Williams in TX; Sister, Hilda Beitel of Bath PA; 11 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Granddaughter.

Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 21, 2005 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown PA followed by an 11:00 a.m. Funeral Mass at the Church, 1408 Easton Road, Hellertown. Family and Friends may call 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow services at the Union Cemetery of Hellertown.

We were all very fortunate to have known and loved Dorothy while she was a guest of the Heritage Unit. Her strength, her will and her undying love for her family, was truly inspirational for all who came in contact with her. Our days and nights will not be the same without her.
