Ella E. (Rauch) Gogel, 90, of Neffs, died Saturday, January 30, 2010 in her home. She was the wife of the late Albert H. Gogel.

Born in Washington Township on October 26, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Nevin H. & Gertrude (Reinsmith) Rauch. She was an assembly worker for the former Keystone Lamp Mfg, Co. for 20 years before retiring in 1974. Ella was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, where she enjoyed singing on the church choir and attending Union Church Sunday School.

She was a member of the former Ladies Auxiliary of the Neffs Volunteer Fire Co. Ella also enjoyed visits from her family and friends, listening to religious music, reading the Bible, cooking, sewing, cleaning and raking leaves.

Survivors: Daughters, Nancy J. Herzog and her husband Peter, of Slatington and Ruby Gogel and her beloved cat, Reds, at home; grandchildren, Gwen, Timothy & Gregory; great grandchildren, Joelle, Evan & Olivia; 2 nieces & 1 nephew. She was predeceased in death by siblings Arlene Beck, Perma Wotring and Russell Rauch.

Service: A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 4, 2010 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville. Family and friends may call 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Union Church Cemetery, Neffs.
