Clifford P. Moyer, 81, of Schnecksville, died Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at the Good Shepherd Specialty Hospital, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Elaine I. (Fenstermaker) Moyer. The couple celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary last February 14. Born in Schnecksville, January 14, 1929, Clifford was the son of the late Paul K. and Helen M. (Wotring) Moyer. He was a 1950 graduate of Muhlenberg College. He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Clifford was employed as a medical technologist at the former Allentown Osteopathic Hospital for 30 years before retiring. Prior to that, he taught German for 2 years. Active in the life of his church, Clifford was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, where he formerly sang on the choir, served on the consistory, taught Sunday School and Bible Study, and served on the Mission Committee. He was a former volunteer at the Parkland Community Library for many years. Survivors: Wife; daughters, Nancy J. Baily and her husband Michael of Maryland, Carol A. Polenchar and her husband Joe of Whitehall, Susan J. Glosan and her husband Robert of Orefield; seven grandchildren; 1 great grandson. Service: A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 1, 2010 at Union U.C.C., 5550 Route 873, Neffs with the Rev. Thomas N. Thomas officiating. Family and friends may call 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Monday in the church. Private interment at Union Church Cemetery, Neffs.
