Irene M. (Gad) Fulmer, 88, of Hellertown, died Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was married to the late William E. Fulmer, who died June 29, 1993.

Born in Bethlehem on August 19, 1921 to the late Peter and Bertha (Masyjada) Gad. She was a seamstress at various textile companies in the Lehigh Valley. An avid card player, Irene was known for her crafts and sewing skills.

Survivors: Son, Gerald W. and his wife Debra of Honesdale; Daughter, Susan K. wife of Richard Salwitz of Lincoln, MA; Grandson, Todd G. Fulmer and his wife Deborah; Great Granddaughter, Madeline R. Fulmer and Loving Niece, Wanda W. Gad. Predeceased by Brothers, Henry J. and Edward P. Gad.

Services: Family and friends are invited to call 12 noon - 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street - Hellertown followed by the service at 1 p.m. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
