Marie E. (Stahley) Rauch, 83, of Cedar View Apts., Allentown , formerly of Schnecksville, died Friday, January 15, 2010 in her home. She was the wife of the late Lawrence P. Rauch.

Born in Schnecksville, October 8, 1926, Marie was the youngest of 12 children of Rayam E. and Annie C. (Kreitz) Stahley. Over the years, her interests included working with ceramics and crocheting afghans for family and friends. She also enjoyed listening to music and weekly sermons sent to her from her church. Marie was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs.

Survivors: Daughters, Diane M. wife of Anthony Pesola of Allentown, Donna L. Baringer of Schnecksville; sister, Irene M. Hartman of Slatington; three grandchildren, Dean Dengler, Dawn Dengler, Rachel Baringer; predeceased sisters and brothers include Lillian, Margaret, Nevin, Earl, Stewart, Marvin, Lewis, Alton, Roy and Ernest.

Services: Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2010 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville with the Rev. Thomas N. Thomas officiating. Family and friends may call 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Union Church Cemetery, Neffs.
