Ruth M. Richmond, 92, of Hausman Rd., Allentown, formerly of Hellertown died Saturday, November 21, 2009 at Luther Crest, Allentown. She is the wife of the late Edward T. Richmond, who died March 7, 1992.

Born in Brooklyn, NY on December 29, 1916 to the late Charles Kinsella and Mary (Healy). Ruth was a Roman Catholic. She was a life-long writer publishing poetry and short stories and contributing over one hundred essays to Luther Crest's monthly newsletter.

Survivors: Daughter, Kathleen R. wife of Robert F. Milligan of Brevard, NC; Sister, Geraldine Stuart of Allentown; 2 Grandchildren, Shaune Clark and Brennan Milligan; and 2 Great Grandchildren, Emma and Caroline Clark. She is predeceased by Son, Ned Richmond. Services: The Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at the Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, 1408 Easton Rd. Hellertown. There will be no calling hours. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown. The Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Hellertown is in charge of arrangements.
