Mary E. Jones, 93, formerly of Wind Gap, died Saturday, August 15, 2009 at Old Orchard Health Care Center,Easton. She is the widow of Vaughn C. Jones who died February 16, 2005.

Born in Nazareth on July 8, 1916, she is the daughter of the late Clarence Werner and Annie (Siebold). She was a housewife the majority of her life and was also a Dental Hygienist. Mary volunteered for F.I.S.H. (Fellowship in serving humanity) for seven years. She is a member of Hope United Church of Christ, Wind Gap.

Survivors: Daughter: Karen E. wife of Gary A. Scott of Hellertown; 3 Grandchildren; 3 Great Grandchildren; 4 Step Grandchildren; and 11 Step Great Grandchildren. Predeceased by: by a son, Brian A. Jones, who died December 30, 2002

Services: The service will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at Hope UCC, 701 Cherry Street - Wind Gap with the Reverend Dr. Dean D. Frey, officiating followed by a greeting period with the family. There will be no calling hours. The Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Hellertown is in charge of arrangements.
