Michael J. "Mike Kee" McKeta, Sr., 68, of Hellertown died Thursday, July 23, 2009 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg Campus, Bethlehem. He is the husband of Patricia A. (Lane) McKeta.

Born in Wood, PA on November 10, 1940 to the late John and Eva (Worhach) McKeta. Michael worked in sales at American Metal Molding, Allentown for many years until retiring. He served his country honorably during peacetime in the US Army. Michael is a member of St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church, Bethlehem. Mike Kee played the accordion with the Swing Kings for over 25 years. He is a member of Dewey Fire Co. and Edward H. Ackerman Post 397 both of Hellertown; Lower Saucon Sportsman's Association and the Roosevelt Club, Bethlehem Twp.

Survivors: In addition to his loving Wife of 43 years; Son, Michael J. Jr. and his wife Laura J. of New Ringgold; Daughter, Kathy A. wife of Brian S. Lean of Bethlehem; Step Daughter, Vicki J. wife of Richard Martin of Hesston; Step Son, Jeffrey L. Cincis and his wife Theresa of Panama City Beach, FL; Brothers, Donald J. and his wife Joni of Seattle, WA; 8 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. He was predeceased by a Brother, S. Richard.

Services: Family and friends are invited to call 4 - 6 p.m. Sunday, July 26, 2009 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street - Hellertown followed by the service at 6:00 p.m. Interment in Wood, PA on the family plot will be at the convenience of the family.
