Calvin J. Boehm, Jr., age 82, of Hausman Road, Lenhartsville, formerly of Seidersville Road, Bethlehem PA, died Monday, April 26, 2004 in his home. He was the Husband of Mary Ann J. (McKinnon) Boehm. The couple celebrated their 59th Wedding Anniversary this past February.

Born in Hellertown PA, he was the son of the late Calvin J. Boehm, Sr. and Mary M. (Hoover) Boehm. He was a Receiving Clerk for the former Taylor-Wharton in Easton PA for 10 years before retiring in 1983. He was also an Assembler for Sheridan Machine Co. in Easton for 25 years and in the Machine Shop of the Bethlehem Steel for 6 years. He served in the United States Army during World War II in the European Theater. He was a Member of the First United Church of Christ, Hellertown, where he was Deacon and Trustee and had served on its Consistory. He was a 50 year Member of the former Hellertown Lodge 563 F&AM; a Member of the Valley of Allentown Lehigh Consistory; the Calypso Lodge Order of Eastern Star 163, Bethlehem PA; and the Edward H. Ackerman Post 397, Hellertown. He was a Direct Descendent of the Reverend John Phillip Boehm, founder of the Reformed Church in Pennsylvania.

He is survived by his Wife; Spouse; Son, Calvin J. Boehm III of Hellertown; Daughter, Susan M., wife of William A. Spirk, with whom he resided; 5 Grandchildren, Kerry and Keith Boehm, William Spirk Jr., Michelle Spirk, and Janette Spirk and 2 Great Grandchildren, Cody and Jacob Boehm.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the First United Church of Christ, 501 Northampton Street, Hellertown. Family and Friends may Call one hour prior to services in the Church. F&A.M. Service will be held at 9:45 a.m. Thursday in the Church. Interment with Military Honors at the Union Cemetery of Hellertown. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., Hellertown PA.
