Helen (Kuronya) Mazsa, 87, a long term resident of Hellertown, died Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at Atlanticare Regional Medical Center, Pomona, NJ. She is the wife of the late Joseph E. Mazsa. Born in Bethlehem on August 14, 1921 to the late Charles and Mary (Hassai) Kuronya. She truly loved baking and was an excellent seamstress. Helen devoted her life to family and friends and will be truly missed by all. Her genuine love for family was passed down to her daughters and sons-in-law where she spent time at each of their homes, which was an unconditional bond that they shared. Of special joy to her were her two great grandsons. She was a life-time member of St. John's Windish Lutheran Church in Bethlehem, PA. Survivors: Daughters, Ilona J. wife of Gary L. Stengel of Little Egg Harbor Twp., NJ and Marlene J. wife of Joseph J. Kutys, Jr. of Wynnewood, PA; Brother, Charles and his wife Barbara of Coopersburg; and Grandchildren, Matthew Stengel and his wife Jessica and their children Benjamin and Andrew; Alisja Stengel; and Thomas Kutys. Services: Family and friends are invited to call 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Friday at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street Hellertown and 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Church, 617 East Fourth Street, Bethlehem with the service at 10:00 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
