Irene E. (Edge) Kemble, 82, of Upper Macungie Twp., formerly of West Amwell Township, NJ, died Monday, June 15, 2009 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Twp. She is the wife of the late Hugh W. Kemble, who died August 24, 2006.

Born on May 12, 1927 in Summit, NJ, she is the daughter of the late Alan F. and Beatrice (Frisby) Edge. Irene worked as a secretary at Hunterdon Medical Center, Flemington, NJ. She attended St. George's Episcopal Church - Hellertown.

Survivors: Son, Bruce A. of Bordentown, NJ; Daughter, Joan S. wife of Thomas A. Goodwin Sr. of Bethlehem; and Grandchildren, Thomas A. Goodwin Jr. and Kristina M. Goodwin. She is predeceased by 2 Sisters and a Brother.

Services: Family and friends are invited to call 9-10 a.m. Friday at St. George's Episcopal Church, 735 Delaware Avenue - Hellertown followed by the service at 10:00. The interment will conclude services at West Amwell Cemetery, NJ. The Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Hellertown is in charge of arrangements.
