Nancy A. (Loy) Snyder, 74 of Allentown, died Saturday, June 13, 2009 in her home. She was the wife of Charles E. Snyder. The couple celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary last November 19.

Born in Allentown, on April 24, 1935, Nancy was the daughter of the late William O. Sr. and Arlene (Nace) Loy. She was employed at Day-Timers, East Texas, as a delinquent billing clerk for 14 years before retiring in 1990. Nancy was a member of Union Evangelical Lutheran Church , Schnecksville.

Survivors: Husband; sons, Kenneth C. Snyder and his wife Jeannette of Schnecksville, Robert T. Snyder and his wife Karen of Mansfield; daughter, Kathleen A. Ziegler and her husband David of Coplay; brother, William O. Loy, Jr. of Coplay; nine grandchildren.

Services: Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2009 in the Union Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5500 Route 873, Schnecksville with the Rev. Dennis W. Moore and the Rev. Jami L. Possinger officiating. Family and friends may call 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Interment will follow the service at Ebenezer Church Cemetery, New Tripoli.
