My deepest sympathies to the Rohrer family. Pappy will be missed. Pappy was always one of my favorite teachers and I remember him fondly, especially his driver training classes. I know there were several of us who gave him a bit of a fright teaching us to drive, but we are better drivers as a result of his training! Pappy definitely made a difference in the Palisades commmunity and his impact will be realized for many years to come. Pappy will forever live in our hearts.

Uncle Walt, when I think of my childhood I think of you and all the wonderful family times shared at "The Belly Acres." I'll always remember with a smile, the stories you told of the adventures you shared with my dad.
Love, your niece, Cindi Wentzel Bjorke

I can only reiterate what Carol Johnson Morse (above) has said. Though, I haven't seen Pappy in years, his positive impact on teaching me to drive has lasted through those years. Rest in peace, Pappy.

I am Charle Rohrer's daughter, and Dale is Rebecca's son. I'm so sorry that Dale and I cannot attend Uncle Walter's funeral. We are living in Georgia. .

I haven't seen Uncle Walter since May 1997. I wish I could have gotten to see him more often, but it just never seemed to work out. We had a Rohrer reunion last June in Reading and tried to contact him, left messages, etc., but never got a response.

Rest in Peace our uncle.

It is with great sadness I learned of Coach Rohrer passing. My condolences to his family and friends.
Walter was my soccer coach during my sporting years at Palisades. I recall his urging to continue improving my sporting skills to a higher level. He would not settle for mediocrity, he wanted his students to be the best they could be.
I was pleasantly surprised when Walter showed up at my place of business in Florida, some 25 years after my graduation. He said, he was just passing through and wanted to say
