Ian L. Beecher, 19, of New Tripoli, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 in his home.

Born in Allentown on May 28, 1990, Ian was the son of Tracey E.(Cochrane) Beecher-Masenheimer with whom he resided. He attended Northwestern Lehigh School District where he participated in wrestling, football, baseball and basketball.

Survivors: Mother, Tracey E. Beecher-Masenheimer and her companion Christopher M. Loch of New Tripoli; sister, Hannah E. Masenheimer at home; step father, Daniel H. Masenheimer of New Tripoli; maternal grandmother, Joan E. (Clauberg) Cochrane of Macungie; maternal grandfather, Thomas D. Cochrane of Fogelsville; paternal grandmother, Darlene Gruzdis of Palmerton; aunts, Lauren A. Ganser and her husband Thomas of Slatington, Charlene Diefenderfer of Trexlertown; uncle, Thomas W. Cochrane and his wife Kimberly of Lititz; many cousins.

Services: Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday, June 8, 2009 at Jacob's Church, 8373 Kings Highway, New Tripoli, with the Rev. Scott L. Shay officiating. Family and friends may call 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. Monday in the church. Private interment. The Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., in Schnecksville is in charge of arrangements.
