Elaine F. (Strohl) Jones, 75, of Orefield, died Sunday, May 24, 2009 at St. Luke's Hospital - Allentown Campus. She was the wife of the late William L. Jones.

Born in Northampton, on December 18, 1933, Elaine was the daughter of the late Harry A. Sr. and Mildred E. (Henry) Strohl. She was a member of the Union United Church of Christ, Neffs.

Survivors: Children, Jimmy M. Jones and his wife Tami H. of Allentown, David W. Jones and his wife Elaine R. of Tamaqua, Diane L. Ebert and her husband Paul R., Jr. of Slatington, Robert A. Jones and his wife Roxanne P. of Hamburg; sister, Jacqueline E. Weil of Orefield; brothers, Dale R. Strohl of Fogelsville, Harry A. Strohl, Jr. of Orefield; grandchildren, Crystal, Ashley and Matthew; predeceased by a grandson, Ryan and a sister, Gloria Sutton.

Services: Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 29, 2009 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville with the Rev. Thomas N. Thomas, officiating. Family and friends may call 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. Friday in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Allentown.
