Virginia Frantz Boyer, 84, of Allentown, died Saturday, April 11, 2009 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Inpatient Hospice Unit, in Allentown. She was the wife of the late David L. Boyer. Virginia was employed as a typist in the financial district of New York City for the investment firm of Shearson, Hammill & Co. for 25 years before retiring in 1986.
