Kathryn E. (Miller) Reitz, 89, former of Quakertown, died Monday, March 2, 2009 at Gracedale Nursing Home, Upper Nazareth Township, where she had been residing.

Born in Allentown, on May 18, 1919, Kathryn was the daughter of the late Raymond E. and Bernadine E. (Keller) Miller. She was employed as a domestic for many years before retiring. Prior to that, she was worked as a machine operator and leather craftsman for the former Edward Shoe Factory in Coopersburg. She was a member of the God's Missionary Church, in Coopersburg.

Survivors: Son, Ronald C. Reitz of Walnutport; daughter, Kay R. David and her husband Bruce of Green Acres, Washington; sister, Betty C. Bridges and her husband Dwight of Fort Wayne, Indiana; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.

Services: Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2009 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with the Rev. Gordon Kincad officiating. Family and friends may call 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. Friday in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Rittersville Cemetery, Allentown.
