Larue A. (Wright) Stettler, 70, of Allentown, died Friday October 31, 2008 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of the late Robert P. Stettler, Sr.

Born in Allentown on February 15, 1938, Larue was the daughter of the late James G. and Laura E. (Frankenfield) Wright. She worked in the produce department, salad bar area, at the Weis Market (Crest Plaza), in South Whitehall Township before retiring. Prior to that, she worked as a sewing machine operator at the former Cross Country Clothes, Egypt. She was a member of the Evangel Fellowship Church, Allentown.

Survivors: Sons, Jeffrey A. Stettler and his wife Susan and Robert P. Stettler, Jr. and his wife Linda both of Allentown, James G. Stettler and his wife Karen of Orefield; sisters, Pauline Berlin of Kutztown, Barbara Geisler of Bethlehem, Loretta Brown of Kresgeville; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.

Services: Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 4, 2008 in the Evangel Fellowship Church, 527 N. St. Lucas Street, Allentown with Pastor Colette R. Brinker officiating. Family and friends may call 9:00 - 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the church. Interment will follow the service at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, Allentown. The Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc. in Schnecksville is in charge of arrangements.
