Alex Bandi, 82, of Williams Twp. died Saturday, October 25, 2008 at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill surrounded by his loving family. He is the husband of Irene (Grabar) Bandi.

Born in Bethlehem on December 16, 1925, he is the son of the late James and Esther (Yoo) Bandi. Alex owned and operated the Leithsville Inn from 1967 - 1983, and was the Dairy Farmer at Stouts Valley Farm, Williams Twp. from 1930 - 1965. He is a member of First Hungarian Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bethlehem; Life member of Beethovan Waldheim.

Survivors: In addition to his loving wife of 60 years; he is survived by: Sons: Alex Jr. and his wife Marie D. of Williams Twp., Michael L. and his wife Sylvia P. of Okeechobee, FL and Steven F. and his wife Sherry L. of Beaver Falls; Daughter: Linda E. wife of George W. Hilbert III of Williams Twp.; 8 Grandchildren: Michele Santiago, Marcus, Justin, Rachel, Jason, Christa, Michael Jr. and Steven Bandi; 8 Great Grandchildren: Michael Fulmer, Devon & Madison Santiago, Joella, Jaxon, Ava, Sophia and Lillie Bandi. Predeceased by brothers James and Steve.

Services: Family and friends are invited to call 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Monday at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. 326 Main Street - Hellertown. The service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the interment conclude services at Memorial Park, Bethlehem.
