Anna S. Hegyi, 91, of St. Marys, GA, died Saturday, October 18, 2008 at St. Marys Convalescent Center.

She was born in Syracuse, NY, October 8, 1917, to the late Telka and John Sawka. Coming from Bethlehem, PA, she had resided in St. Marys, for the past 4 years, was a Homemaker and of the Lutheran faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Hegyi.

Survivors include a daughter and son in law, Andrea and Clinton Behringer of Kingsland, GA; sisters, Iren Fabian of Syracuse, NY and Johanna Fishel of Bethlehem, PA; several nieces and nephews.

Allison Memorial Chapel of St. Marys, GA is in charge of local arrangements.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 24, 208 at 11:00 a.m. at the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 326 Main Street, Hellertown, with burial to follow at the Union Cemetery of Hellertown.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
