Mary (Myrkun) Wlodek, age 84, of Walnutport PA, formerly of Somerset NJ, died Saturday, June 16, 2007 in Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem PA. She was the wife of the late Joseph Wlodek.

Born in New York City NY, December 3, 1922, Mary was the daughter of the late Michael and Maria (Kologeski) Myrkun. She was employed as a Dietary Supervisor at the former King James Nursing Home in Somerset NJ for many years before retiring. She was a member of St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, (Berlinsville) Walnutport PA.

She is survived by her Son, Peter Wlodek and his wife Joyce of Slatington PA; Daughter, Barbara A. Smaligo and her husband Robert of Milford, Pike County, PA; 4 Grandchildren; and 5 Great Grandchildren.

A Mass of a Christian Burial will be held 10:30 am. Wednesday, June 20, 2007 in St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, 4112 Mountain View Road, (Berlinsville) Walnutport PA, with the Reverend Francis P. Schoenauer, Celebrant. Family and Friends may call 9:30 - 10:30 am. Wednesday in the Church. Interment will take place at 2:00 pm. Wednesday in Franklin Memorial Park, N. Brunswick NJ. The Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., Schnecksville PA, is in charge of arrangements.
