Dorothy J. (Knoll) Eltz, 88 years, of Wescosville, died Sunday, August 31, 2008 in the home of her daughter Barbara L. Schleicher. She was the wife of the late Robert G. Eltz .

Born in Allentown on September 6, 1919, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Earl T. and Esther (Pearson) Knoll. She was employed as a paint sprayer and assembly line worker at Rodale Manufacturing, later known as Square D in Emmaus before retiring. She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Allentown.

Survivors: Daughters, Jean E. Power and her husband Richard of Hollywood, Florida and Barbara L. Schleicher and her husband Kenneth with whom she resided; sister, Kathryn E. Weider of Port Richie, Florida; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; predeceased by sons, Larry R. Eltz and Dennis E. Eltz.

Services: Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 4, 2008 in the Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville with the Rev. LaVerne W. Passman officiating. Family and friends may call 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Solomon's Church Cemetery, Macungie.
